Brick Convention Orlando

RenLUG had a fantastic time participating in Brick Convention at Osceola Heritage Park, where we showcased our “Renaissance Reimagined” collaborative LEGO® display and other builds by RenLUG members alongside talented builders from across the region. Our collaborative efforts paid off, earning us the Best in Show award. Individual RenLUG members also won Best Small Building and Best Small Build awards in recognition of their creativity and craftsmanship. The event was a great opportunity to share our passion for LEGO® with the community, inspire future builders, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. We’re proud of the dedication and imagination our members put into every display, and we look forward to bringing even more innovative builds to future events. We can’t wait to return in 2026.

Orlando Science Center Community Partner Showcase Monthly Events

RenLUG is a regular exhibitor at the Orlando Science Center’s Monthly Community Partner Showcase, where we bring hands-on LEGO® fun and creativity to visitors of all ages. Our exhibit in the OSC Clubhouse features:

🔹 Play Brick Build Zone: A free play area with an assortment of LEGO® bricks, encouraging creativity through open-ended building and themed challenges.
🔹 LEGO Derby Races: On RenLUG’s 32-foot-long track where attendees can build and race their own LEGO® vehicles.
🔹 LEGO Displays: Impressive creations by RenLUG members, including intricate dioramas, unique builds, and collaborative projects that highlight LEGO® artistry and innovation.

As a community partner, RenLUG is dedicated to inspiring creativity, promoting STEM education, and sharing the joy of LEGO® with the Central Florida community.

Spark STEM Fest

RenLUG is proud to be part of Spark STEM Fest, continuing a tradition for us that began with Otronicon, where our predecessors, Renaissance Robotics & BRICKschoolers, were regular exhibitors. Spark celebrates over two decades of inspiring technology and innovation, fostering meaningful connections between the public and professionals while building excitement for future possibilities.

At Spark STEM Fest, RenLUG showcased the creativity and engineering behind LEGO through interactive displays and hands-on activities:
🔹 LEGO Displays: intricate builds and collaborative creations that blend artistic creativity with engineering skills.
🔹 Play Brick Build Zone: free play and fun building challenges designed to spark imagination.

RenLUG also be exhibits at Science Night Live Events at the Orlando Science Center—an exciting evening designed for adults who want to explore science without the kids! This is your chance to let out your inner child and enjoy hands-on exhibits, interactive experiences, and special guest speakers in a vibrant, adult-only atmosphere.

Enchanted Knights Renaissance Faires

RenLUG is a regular fixture at the Enchanted Knights Renaissance Faire events held at the Oviedo Mall, where we bring the magic of the Middle Ages to life with LEGO® bricks.

Our immersive displays showcase detailed medieval-themed creations—including Viking longships, bustling village dioramas, legendary monsters, epic castles and heroic minifig knights—that match the unique themes of each faire. Many of our members even dress up in costume to match the event’s theme, adding to the festive, fantasy-filled atmosphere. Costumes are encouraged—feel free to join the fun!
