An inclusive adult LEGO® community for serious builders, creators, and collaborators —inspiring builders since 2019.
RenLUG brings Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) together to build, learn, and share — from personal MOCs to large-scale collaborative creations, public exhibitions, hands-on STEM programs for kids and families, and community partnerships across Central Florida.
Wherever we can, RenLUG puts bricks in people’s hands — not just on display. Our Play Brick Build Zone lets visitors free build or tackle creative challenges, while Royal Rally Racing has kids— and more than a few adults — designing and racing their own LEGO® gravity cars.
RenLUG serves the greater Orlando metro region — core membership in Seminole, Orange & Lake Counties, with programs and events spanning nine counties and 9,500+ square miles across Central Florida. See our full service area →
Celebrating creativity, discovery, and collaboration across time and imagination
RenLUG — Renaissance LEGO® User Group
Renaissance: Remarkable technological innovation and artistic achievement
LUG: LEGO® User Group
While many think of castles and medieval builds, RenLUG welcomes all genres—from fantasy to futuristic, trains to cityscapes—encouraging builders to push boundaries and celebrate innovation.
What We Do
Build • Display • Connect
Collaborative Buildsand MOCs From tabletop scenes to convention-scale showcases, every build is better together. RenLUG members create shared LEGO® projects of all shapes and sizes — from small team builds to ambitious large-scale collaborative displays. Members also bring their own individual MOCs (My Own Creations), showcasing personal builds that reflect each builder’s unique style and interests. Whether working on a themed diorama, a modular layout, or a one-of-a-kind centerpiece, members share skills and creativity to build things that inspire at every scale.
Public Exhibitions Bringing LEGO® creativity to life for audiences of all ages across Central Florida. RenLUG presents LEGO® displays and interactive exhibits at science centers, museums, libraries, maker faires, festivals, and conventions throughout the region. These events give members a chance to showcase their work, inspire the public, and demonstrate the artistry and engineering that goes into adult LEGO® building — sparking wonder in visitors young and old.
RenLUG members are serious adult builders who also love sharing the hobby. Our public exhibitions range from display-only showcases to fully interactive build experiences — depending on the event, visitors may be admiring the work or building right alongside us.
Built-In Community From social field trips to a private online hub, connection is always part of the build. RenLUG members stay connected through LEGO® Store visits, group lunches, and casual meetups to share ideas and enjoy building together. Active members also gain access to our private Discord community, where builders share works-in-progress, coordinate projects, and keep the conversation going between meetings.
Built by Our MembersRenLUG is home to serious builders across every genre — from microscale architecture to convention-scale collaborative dioramas.

Signature STEM Program
RenLUG Royal Rally Racing
Florida’s Only LUG-Operated LEGO® Gravity Track
Exclusively operated by RenLUG, Central Florida’s LEGO® User Group.
Experience hands-on STEM and creative play with LEGO®! Builders design, test, and refine gravity-powered LEGO® racers while exploring engineering design, physics, iterative problem-solving and sportsmanship — all on RenLUG’s full-scale racing 35′ long derby track.
Somebuilders need a little help. That’s what we’re here for.
Royal Rally Racing is RenLUG’s flagship hands-on STEM program that puts LEGO® bricks directly into kids’ hands — not behind a rope, but in their hands, designing and racing their own gravity-powered cars at community events across Central Florida.
Maker Faire Orlando is one of our anchor events — we bring the full track every year. In 2025, in our very first appearance at Maker Faire Orlando, RenLUG was recognized with a Maker of Merit award — an honor reserved for exhibits that make an exceptional contribution to the maker community. The award recognized our full exhibit: RenLUG Royal Rally Racing, our custom LEGO® MOC displays, and the hands-on experience we created for Maker Faire visitors. We’ll be back in 2026.
That moment your build is race-ready — every Royal Rally Racing car starts as a pile of bricks and ends like this.
