AFOL Favorite Links & Resources

A curated collection of LEGO® resources, communities, and tools recommended by RenLUG members. This list intentionally focuses on platforms and tools rather than individual LEGO® artists — there are far too many talented creators to list, but you’ll find plenty to follow by searching LEGO® on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

Buy, Sell & Trade LEGO®

BrickLink The leading marketplace for genuine LEGO® products, with an extensive catalog of every LEGO® element and set ever produced. Buy and sell LEGO® elements, minifigures, and sets locally and internationally with a free account.

STEM & Youth Programs

FIRST LEGO League FIRST LEGO League introduces STEM to children through hands-on robotics and real-world problem-solving across three age divisions:

  • FLL Discover — PreK–Grade 1, ages 4–6
  • FLL Explore — Grades 2–4, ages 6–10
  • FLL Challenge — Grades 4–8, ages 9–14

FIRST also offers two advanced levels — FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition — for older students ready to take their skills further.

Many of RenLUG’s founders got their start in FIRST LEGO League and Junior FIRST Lego League as kids — these programs are where our community’s roots in STEM outreach and collaboration began. That connection continues today: several RenLUG members are actively mentoring FIRST teams and/or volunteering at FIRST events, bringing their experience full circle and helping inspire the next generation of builders, engineers, and innovators.
