Renaissance Lego User Group Inc delivers five core programs to communities across Central Florida — from gravity-powered STEM racing to large-scale collaborative engineering exhibits. Our programs serve students, families, scouts, libraries, schools, science centers, and the general public, bringing hands-on creativity and STEM learning to audiences of all ages.
Since 2019, RenLUG has documented 13,180+ community engagements across all programs combined.
🏎️ Royal Rally Racing
Florida’s only LUG-operated gravity LEGO® racing STEM program
Launched in 2024 and expanded significantly in 2025, Royal Rally Racing is RenLUG’s signature bookable STEM program. Participants design and build gravity-powered LEGO® cars, then race them down RenLUG’s custom track while learning principles of engineering, physics, and iterative design. Fast, hands-on, and genuinely exciting for participants of all ages.
Designed for: Schools and homeschool groups, scout packs and troops, libraries and museums, community festivals, corporate and nonprofit events — all ages welcome.
To request: Royal Rally Racing is available to book for your school, library, scout program, festival, or community event.

🎨 Brick Renaissance℠
Community STEM celebrations honoring LEGO® art, creativity, and innovation
Brick Renaissance events are RenLUG’s community celebration programs — large-scale LEGO® art and innovation showcases that bring members’ builds and RenLUG’s STEM programming together in one experience. Events are produced independently by RenLUG and in partnership with venues including the Orlando Science Center. Brick Renaissance events honor the creativity and craftsmanship that LEGO® makes possible, and are designed to be welcoming and inspiring for attendees of all backgrounds.
Designed for: General public, families, LEGO® enthusiasts, partner venue audiences — all ages.

🔍 Brick Quest℠
Treasure hunts, escape room experiences, and community challenges
Brick Quest programs blend the excitement of a treasure hunt or escape room with LEGO® building and creative problem-solving. Participants work together to solve challenges, find clues, and complete build objectives — making Brick Quest one of RenLUG’s most engaging and interactive program formats. Seasonal editions include Holiday Treasure Hunts delivered in community settings, emphasizing teamwork, critical thinking, and community engagement for participants of all ages.
Designed for: Families, community groups, libraries, youth programs, general public — all ages.

🏛️ Public Exhibitions & Displays
Thematic LEGO® installations at libraries, malls, science centers, and conventions
RenLUG designs and installs thematic LEGO® exhibitions and displays at partner venues across Central Florida and beyond. These installations bring LEGO® art to audiences who encounter it organically — at their library, local mall, or community science center — making creative and engineering excellence accessible to everyone. Current and recent exhibition venues include the Orange County Library System branches, Oviedo Mall, and convention floors at Brick Convention Orlando and Brick Fan Event Orlando.
Designed for: General public at libraries, malls, museums, convention centers, and community spaces — all ages.
To request: Venues and organizations interested in hosting a RenLUG installation or display are welcome to reach out.
⚙️ Great Ball Contraption (GBC)
Collaborative modular chain-reaction engineering exhibit
The Great Ball Contraption is one of LEGO® fandom’s most impressive collaborative engineering traditions — and RenLUG brings it to public events across Central Florida. A GBC is a modular chain-reaction machine built by multiple members, each contributing an independently designed module that passes a ball to the next. The result is a mesmerizing, endlessly looping engineering exhibit that demonstrates creativity, mechanical design, and the power of collaboration in a way that stops crowds in their tracks.
Designed for: Public event audiences, STEM enthusiasts, families, convention attendees — all ages. GBC is primarily an exhibition program rather than a bookable standalone event, and typically appears as part of larger RenLUG public events and conventions.
