What It Means to Be a RenLUG Member

RenLUG isn’t just a club — it’s a community of builders, creators, and collaborators who take the hobby seriously and welcome everyone from casual fans to master builders. When you join, you become part of something that has been growing steadily since 2019 and shows up — at libraries, science centers, conventions, schools, and community events — representing LEGO® as a legitimate creative and engineering medium.

Members are expected to contribute to that community. That means showing up, participating, volunteering at events, and treating fellow members and the public with respect. The more you put in, the more you get out.

Club Culture & Community Standards

RenLUG is built on a few core principles that shape everything we do:

Inclusivity — RenLUG welcomes builders of all skill levels, backgrounds, and experience. There is no gatekeeping here.

Collaboration — Our best work happens together. From collaborative builds to joint event setups, members support one another.

Community first — We exist to serve Central Florida, not just ourselves. Members are ambassadors of RenLUG and the broader AFOL community every time they represent the group in public.

Respect & accountability — All members are expected to follow our Code of Conduct at all times, both at RenLUG events and in RenLUG-affiliated spaces online.
