Build. Connect. Inspire.

RenLUG (Renaissance LEGO® User Group Inc) is a community of adult LEGO® fans who display individual builds, collaborate on creative projects, support public events, and promote learning through play across Central Florida.
We welcome builders of all experience levels, educators, and volunteers who want to share their passion for LEGO® in a positive and inclusive environment.
Who Can Join?
RenLUG membership is open to Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) — adults 18 and up who share a passion for LEGO® creativity and community, including:
- Builders of all skill levels, from casual hobbyists to advanced MOC designers
- Creators and makers who enjoy individual MOCs, collaborative builds, themed displays, digital design, and experimentation
- Community-minded collaborators who work well with others, communicate respectfully, and help maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Volunteers interested in community outreach, public exhibitions, workshops, and hands-on activities
- Educators, STEM & STEAM advocates — including teachers, engineers, artists, students, and lifelong learners
- Fans of LEGO® of every theme and genre — trains, robotics, art, architecture, history, fantasy, sci-fi, space, pop culture, original storytelling, and more.
- Supporters and enthusiasts — you don’t need to build constantly or own a large collection to belong
RenLUG values cooperation, respect, and inclusion. Membership is intended for those who contribute positively to the community and uphold these shared standards. You don’t need massive collections or competitive building credentials — just a love of LEGO® and a willingness to participate respectfully in a shared community.
Youth & Teen Participation RenLUG is primarily an adult LEGO® fan community. If you bring children to member events, not all activities are suitable for younger participants and parents or guardians must supervise minors at all times. We also host family-friendly public exhibitions and workshops open to builders of all ages — check Events & Meetings or our Facebook Group (public info only — RenLUG membership requires the website application) for upcoming public events.
Why Join RenLUG?

As a member, you’ll have opportunities to:
- 🏰Collaborative Builds — Plan and create LEGO® displays with other builders across Central Florida
- 🏰Public Events — Display at LEGO® conventions, community festivals, STEM nights, and partner showcases
- 🏰 Community & Field Trips — LEGO® store visits, group lunches, socials, and holiday events
- 🏰 Gallery Features — Have your builds featured on our site and social media
- 🏰 Outreach Support — Promote STEM & creative learning through hands‑on activities
- 🏰 President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) — Earn nationally recognized volunteer service recognition through RenLUG’s approved Certifying Organization status. RenLUG members regularly achieve Gold level — and at least 7 members hold the PVSA Lifetime Achievement Award
- 🏰 Group Purchasing Opportunities — Members occasionally have the opportunity to participate in coordinated group orders, giving you access to deals that are simply not available to individual buyers — with standard shipping times rather than the months-long waits common with other bulk ordering programs
RenLUG focuses on participation, collaboration, and shared creativity — not paid status. RenLUG emphasizes creativity, learning, and community over competition.
