RenLUG is a hobby group for Adult Fans of LEGO® in Seminole, Orange, and Lake Counties

First Meeting?

If you are new and this is your first event with RenLUG, message us so we can arrange a public meet up before sharing a members home address. We typically hold this first meet up at one of the coffee shops or the library. Let us know which you would prefer, we want everyone to be comfortable. If someone already in the group knows you and can vouch for you, we do not need this step.

What do you need to bring to your first meeting?

Just yourself and maybe a friend. If you want you can bring a LEGO® project you’ve worked on. We’d love to see it even if its pictures.

What can you expect at an RenLUG meeting?

While each meeting is different, this is our basic format.

The first hour of most meetings is LEGO® business focused. We discuss any club business, new member introductions, upcoming special events or trips, new sets, good deals and what we’re working on.

The second hour is fun and LEGO® related games – Can you build a set WITHOUT opening a polybag? Can you guess the minifig by touch alone? Team builds and team race challenges. Basically anything someone comes up with is fair game.

The third hour is food (although snacks are usually available anytime). Most often this is pizza or potluck, but sometimes we’ll head to a nearby restaurant.
