🏆 Convention Exhibitions
Bringing RenLUG to LEGO® conventions, fan events, and major gatherings
RenLUG’s roots are in hands-on LEGO® programming, STEM/STEAM activities, and educational community outreach. From 2019 through 2023, these programs were the primary focus of RenLUG’s community work, alongside regular member meetings and LEGO® building activities.
In 2024, RenLUG began exhibiting at Enchanted Knights Festivals, bringing LEGO® creations and community programming to these recurring indoor renaissance-themed events.
2025 marked a major expansion of RenLUG’s exhibition activity. Brick Convention Orlando was RenLUG’s first large-scale LEGO® convention, where RenLUG received Best in Show and Best Small Building. RenLUG also exhibited at Brick Fan Event Orlando and Maker Faire Orlando for the first time, receiving a Maker of Merit Award at its debut Maker Faire Orlando appearance.
In 2026, RenLUG continued its growing exhibition schedule, returning to major events while appearing at additional conventions and large-scale gatherings, including EpicVerse Comic Con and Pompano Beach Toy Con. RenLUG also continues to exhibit at Enchanted Knights Festivals, a recurring series held four times each year. RenLUG also supported Brick Ladies of Tampa Bay’s first LEGO® convention appearance by contributing builds to their Brick Fan Event Tampa display. At Brick Convention Orlando 2026, RenLUG received five awards and presented 144 linear feet of LEGO® displays across 44 tables.
Convention and event exhibitions may feature large-scale collaborative displays, individual MOCs, RenRail, Great Ball Contraption, Royal Rally Racing, interactive exhibits, and other RenLUG programs.
These events give RenLUG builders opportunities to share their creativity with LEGO® fans and the broader public while demonstrating the artistry, engineering, storytelling, and collaboration behind adult LEGO® building.
Ren Realms
LEGO® worlds built by RenLUG — reimagined for every show.
Ren Realms is a collection of large-scale, collaborative LEGO® displays created by RenLUG members. Each realm brings together individual creations, shared storytelling, and modular elements to create an immersive world that can evolve and be rearranged for different exhibitions.
Ren Realms displays include Renaissance Reimagined, Ren City, and other collaborative worlds developed by RenLUG members.
Renaissance Reimagined
A medieval world that is never the same twice.
Renaissance Reimagined is RenLUG’s large-scale modular medieval display, featuring castles, villages, landscapes, buildings, roads, and other creations contributed by members.
The modular display is rearranged for each show, allowing different combinations and configurations to create a new experience for every venue.
No two shows are exactly alike.
RenCity
A collaborative LEGO® city built to evolve.
Ren City brings together member-built buildings, vehicles, infrastructure, and city scenes in a shared urban landscape. Like other Ren Realms displays, its modular design allows the layout and featured creations to change from one exhibition to the next.
RenRail
Intelligent LEGO® train systems
A dedicated RenLUG program combining LEGO® trains, detailed environments, sensors, automation, and interactive technology.
What We Exhibit
RenLUG members build across a wide range of themes, techniques, and interests. Depending on the event, an exhibition may include:
Original LEGO® Creations (MOCs)
Member-designed creations ranging from architecture and vehicles to fantasy, science fiction, historical subjects, art, and imaginative storytelling.
Collaborative Builds
Large-scale creations assembled from the work of multiple RenLUG members, combining different building styles and ideas into a single display.
LEGO® Train Systems
RenRail combines detailed LEGO® worlds and original MOCs with sensors, automation, and interactive technology to create dynamic train experiences.
STEM & Engineering Displays
Hands-on creations that demonstrate engineering concepts, mechanical systems, robotics, automation, and problem-solving through LEGO®.
Themed Exhibitions
Displays developed around a specific theme, season, location, organization, or community event.
Interactive Exhibits
Displays that invite visitors to do more than look — incorporating interactive elements, audience participation, building challenges, or technology where appropriate.
More Than a Display
RenLUG exhibitions are designed to encourage people to stop, look closer, ask questions, and discover what can be created with LEGO® bricks.
Whenever an event calls for a more hands-on experience, an exhibition can be combined with other RenLUG programs such as Play Brick Build Zone & Challenges, Royal Rally Racing, Great Ball Contraption, RenRail Interactive, Brick Quest, or Brick Renaissance.
This allows an organization to create an experience that combines display, participation, creativity, and STEM learning.
Exhibitions Across Central Florida
RenLUG serves communities throughout its Central Florida service area, with a strong presence in the greater Orlando metro area and growing participation beyond the region.
Our members regularly contribute LEGO® creations and interactive experiences to public events, educational programs, libraries, community organizations, conventions, and other venues.
