RenLUG – Central Florida’s LEGO® User Group

An inclusive adult LEGO® community for serious builders, creators, and collaborators inspiring builders since 2019.

RenLUG brings Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) together to build, learn, and share — from personal MOCs to large-scale collaborative creations, public exhibitions, hands-on STEM programs for kids and families, and community partnerships across Central Florida.

Wherever we can, RenLUG puts bricks in people’s hands — not just on display. Our Play Brick Build Zone lets visitors free build or tackle creative challenges, while Royal Rally Racing has kids — and more than a few adults — designing and racing their own LEGO® gravity cars.

RenLUG serves the greater Orlando metro region — core membership in Seminole, Orange & Lake Counties, with programs and events spanning nine counties and 9,500+ square miles across Central Florida. See our full service area →

Ren Realms

THE SHARED DISPLAY UNIVERSE OF RENLUG

Every collaborative display RenLUG brings to life exists within a single connected universe. Many realms. One world. Built by our members.

What Is Ren Realms

One Universe, Many Worlds

Ren Realms is the overarching creative universe that connects all of RenLUG’s collaborative display programs. From modular city blocks to sprawling island archipelagos, from train lines to space stations — every display is a realm, and every realm is part of something larger.

When RenLUG sets up at an event, visitors aren’t just seeing a LEGO® display. They’re stepping into a world that our members have been building together since 2019 — one brick, one realm, one event at a time.

The Realms

RenCity — The Urban Core The heart of the Ren Realms universe. A modular, ever-expanding cityscape built by members across genres. Skyscrapers, neighborhoods, civic landmarks, and every kind of city life. Ren City grows with every event.

RenRail — Intelligent Train Systems The rail network that runs through Ren City and beyond. Automated locomotives, audience-controlled crossings, and world-building layouts that connect every realm. When RenRail runs, the whole universe moves.

Ninjago District: Shattered Realms — The Archipelago Beyond the City Where the urban grid dissolves into a sea of floating islands — each one its own world. The Ninjago Isles, the Jade Realm (Monkie Kid), the Dream Rift (DREAMZzz), and the Void. Many themes. One archipelago.

Space Port 1999 — The 1999 Space Port Town Theme

A dedicated tribute to LEGO®’s 1999 Space Port subtheme — one year, one theme, built to spec. Every MOC in the display uses only parts found in the original 1999 Space Port sets, from Mission Control (set 6456) down to the Astronaut polybag. Modern mold variations of period-correct parts are permitted, but the palette, the part library, and the aesthetic are strictly 1999.

Running through it all: the Railway Express (set 4561) — LEGO®’s blue and white 9V high-speed train, also from 1999, serving as the transit connection between the launch complex and the wider display. Same year. Same world.

Renaissance Reimagined — Castle, History & Fantasy Castles, kingdoms, medieval villages, and fantasy landscapes. Where the Renaissance spirit of innovation meets the timeless art of LEGO® castle building.
